Overview
Two lighthouse keepers try to maintain their sanity while living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.
Bought a ticket to an early screening and got sick. Waited 6 months for another screening, bought another ticket, and all the theaters got closed due to covid-19. After all this luck, had to just watch it at home. While this movie is really worth to wait for and better be seen in theatres, it still was an amazing home experience. After the first seconds, I knew I gonna like the cinematography and the atmosphere in this one. The movie slows down a bit in a second quarter, but then gets back on track and never stops until the very end. The best thing about it is the acting. Both actors are absolutely worth an Oscar. I knew Dafoe is amazing, but didn’t expect such performance from Pattinson, even after Good Time.
