After the screening in Cannes, half of the people applauded while the other half booed. And they all are right in a way, Von Trier loves to be controversial. But putting the marketing aside, this is a visual masterpiece.  It’s a Von Trier’s version of horror in the woods, full of stunning slow-down shots and absorbing graphics. Just when it seems that the movie is getting out of breath, we are presented with some exceptionally creative scene. Some of it is even hilarious. Acting and soundtrack is top-notch, but not so the scenario. The ending seemed like a cheap movie from an angry teenager.
