After 11-year-old Zachary Cowan strikes his classmate across the face with a stick after an argument, the victim's parents invite Zachary's parents to their Brooklyn apartment to deal with the incident in a civilized manner.
A start of Polanski’s period of making movies in a small setting. There’s a proper character study with great acting, so the movie is a fun to watch. It’s like a less-twisted version of The Perfect Strangers. I gave it four stars, because his next movie, Venus in Fur, is on yet another level.
