It was a Spring’s film festival and I had to choose a movie. There were many social themed ones that I’m generally careful about. I kept reading the programme until my eyes came across a movie about a man and a cow by an unknown Chinese director. That’s how this movie ended up here. It’s a really unique stuff. While technically being a drama, this movie just shows things in its own way. There’s a lot of close shots which gives this intimate and weird experience. Acting is great, as well as camera work, and the director certainly has a good sense of humor.
