Overview
In Greenwich Village in the early 1960s, gifted but volatile folk musician Llewyn Davis struggles with money, relationships, and his uncertain future following the suicide of his singing partner.
A movie about a country musician? Should I watch this? Yeah, you definitely should. You will forget to be watching a biographical drama. Music, camera work, acting, everything is top notch. The movie just puts you in one person shoes for a few days, but it’s done with such passion that I didn’t care what happens next. That’s a sign of master filmmaking. Coens at their best.
