The Strangers

Lock the door. Pretend you're safe.

After returning from a wedding reception, a couple staying in an isolated vacation house receive a knock on the door in the mid-hours of the night. What ensues is a violent invasion by three strangers, their faces hidden behind masks. The couple find themselves in a violent struggle, in which they go beyond what either of them thought capable in order to survive.

I like the most that the director didn’t bake yet another horror movie, but subtly showed a new open-minded idea. The movie is not predictable. The scenario isn’t like something scary is happening and the main character gradually puts all the pieces together. The film is full of intelligent mystery and has a controversial ending, which divided the viewers.
