This mysterious drama immediately went to the top of my list. In the beginning, it’s a cold minimalistic Scandinavian cinema with a perfect portrayal of schizophrenic atmosphere. As it approaches the middle, romance and thriller themes begin to appear, making the movie more tense. The opera scene had me breathless. In the second half, some horror scenes are mixed in, the tension rises even more, and you wonder where is this movie going. But at the end, everything is put to its place, and you realize it’s a beautiful drama with a nice character study behind it all.
