18th century justice catches up with a pair of grave robbers. With only a few hours to go before his date with the guillotine, Arthur Blake (Monaghan) tells his life story to Father Francis Duffy (Ron Perlman). Before long, Arthur spills the beans on how he got started in the grim corpse peddling business with seasoned ghoul Willie Grimes.

A hilarious comedy that doesn’t follow any of the Hollywood’s rules. The humor is dark without going into drama as opposed to many movies of this genre.

He gets infected and dies, but a blood transfusion of unknown origin brings him back to life as a vampire. Now, Sang-hyun is torn between faith and bloodlust, and has a newfound desire for Tae-ju, the wife of his childhood friend.

Chan Wook Park was making this for like ten years, and he surely has his arguments. The movie is very polished, mature and works on many different levels. A bit…

“Three” is an anthology of three horror shorts from three different Asian countries. In “Dumplings” an aging actress wishing to reclaim her youth goes to a woman who makes dumplings that supposedly have regenerative properties; however, they contain a gruesome secret ingredient. In “Box” a soft spoken young woman has a bizarre recurring nightmare about being buried in a box in the snow. Searching for her long lost sister, she realizes her dreams and reality may […]

An eye-opening cinema that sums up the Asian horror and does it with style. The first movie is just good while the other two absorbed me with an outstanding cinematography…

An all-expenses-paid international search for a rare copy of the book, ‘The Nine Gates of the Kingdom Of Shadows’ brings an unscrupulous book dealer deep into a world of murder, double-dealing and satanic worship.

This mysterious gothic tale with stylish cinematography and great acting is one of the most under looked and the best works from Polanski. It’s technically an entertaining adventure movie, but…

After arriving at his new post, Boyd and his regiment aid a wounded frontiersman who recounts a horrifying tale of a wagon train murdered by its supposed guide — a vicious U.S. Army colonel gone rogue. Fearing the worst, the regiment heads out into the wilderness to verify the gruesome claims.

An outlooked masterpiece, more intelligent and even more adventurous version of Tarantino. The only complain could be the ending where the things slow down a little, but overally the time…

Netflix and action sci-fi is a risky combination, but this movie is a pleasant surprise. Given its 5 mil. budget, you could actually see the team squeezing every bit out…

When her husband’s sex game goes wrong, Jessie (who is handcuffed to a bed in a remote lake house) faces warped visions, dark secrets and a dire choice.

After the beginning, I was up for an entertaining and tasty horror movie, but ended up with slow-burning psychological thriller. And it was good. It has some cheap scares and…

There, she gets no time to settle: hazing starts right away. Justine is forced to eat raw meat for the first time in her life. Unexpected consequences emerge as her true self begins to form.

I find myself liking modern French cinema more and more. Here is an obscure horror from the first time director and it’s good! It has a unique absorbing atmosphere, great…

An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps but soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem.

Better than expected. Cinematography and camera work are amazing, acting is great and the story... While entertaining enough, it could have been more developed.
